As with many geeks in the days before Network Solutions demanded payment up front for domain name registration, I registered a number of odd domain names including cyberbooty.com. It seemed an appropriate place to house these comics.
Cyberbooty initially got some attention with the crackpipe strips, although I havn't worked on a new one in the series for several years. The newer strips are loosly based on the misadventures of a horny guy and his horny girlfriend, with sexy results. Porn zombies, glitter STDs, and glory holes are all part of this cyberbooty world.
A series called How To Get In The Pants of Different Types of Ladies has garnered what could be called a cult following only under the loosest standards.
One of the frequent topics of my comics are cliches. Sure, it's easy to make fun of fundamentalist Christians, republicans, soccer moms with their SUVs, and the like when you're audience is young, left-oriented, and politically minded. But there isn't any fun in that.
Preaching to the converted is the Bog Saggat of comedy. It's guaranteed to offend no one. It appeals to the ego of the reader, somewhere near the "I'm right and you're wrong" center of the brain, known as the belligerance center.
So in my comics, you'll rarely ever find a fundamentalist Christian, republican, or any other right-wing group potrayed in foolish or absurd manner, rather I find it much more constructive to look around the corner to find that which is absurd.
Anyway, it's just a comic, and not even a good one at that. Please enjoy, or don't enjoy.

01-24-2003: I've been adding various little features here and there. I've added a browsing feature, so you can now move forward and backward chronologically.
The system now sports the following features:
Automated comic managment (shifting down when new comics are uploaded) Database driven content Comment engine, allowing viewers to comment on each individual script Chronological comic browsing Links management engine (randomized display) Comic view counter, based on how many times the image is accessed from the DB (fully accounting for all clicks) Automatically update site with one page form that accepts date, annotation, and loads the comic strip image into the MySQL database
The main goal of this project is to make a very funtional, and very simple comic managment engine. This is my first major project with MySQL and PHP, so it's a learning process for me as well.
This comic framework/content management system will soon be a project unto it's own. It was born out of my own frustration on updating the page manually, and a distinct lack of any comic mangement applications. Any comic-based systems on SourceForge only deal with already published comics and ripping them off to put on your page.
When I get this project up on SourceForge, it will of course be free and open. It runs on a PHP/MySQL system, and you can get hosting that provides the two for very cheap nowadays, around $10 a month, depending.
If you're a comic artist and you're interested in this type of system, drop me a line at (tonyb izzat cyberbooty dizzot com).
